Terry McBride works as a financial planner in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. He obtained his Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Saskatchewan and became a financial advisor in 1979.
McBride was one of the first 100 Certified Financial Planners in Canada. He is also a Chartered Life Underwriter. He has worked as a trust officer and tax officer at Co-operative Trust, where he became a Member of the Trust Institute, specializing in Personal Trusts and Taxation. He now provides estate and retirement planning advice for investment clients at Raymond James. In 1997 he was recognized as Member of the Year by the Canadian Association of Financial Planners.
McBride is a past president of the Saskatoon Estate Planning Council and past president of the local Saskatchewan chapter of Advocis (The Financial Advisors Association of Canada). He has taught financial planning courses in taxation at Career Campus and the Kelsey Campus of SIAST. He keeps up to date with the tax changes because he prepares over 200 tax returns each year, many for deceased taxpayers and estates.
