The Reliability Forecast Calculator was built based on PlanPlus President, Shawn Brayman’s Financial Frontier award winning paper “Beyond Monte Carlo Analysis: A Replacement for a Misunderstood Practice”.
This new calculator analyses the probabilities of a client being able to achieve their retirement goals recognizing a series of life expectancy and rate of return assumptions.
The analysis uses award winning and ground breaking algorithmic formulas to give client’s a good understanding of the combination of assumptions that will result in success or failure. This calculator is currently integrated into the Single Need Retirement Calculator, with plans for integration to our Life Goals analysis in 2008.
