Planipedia is a not-for-profit community-based information resource for consumers, financial planners, financial planning firms and financial planning associations. A primary aspect of being a financial planner is that the first duty of care is to the client. In some countries that takes the form of a fiduciary responsibility while in others it may be a simple practice standard.

The over-riding principal of this site is that information should assist the advisor and their firms, but in all cases be shown to be in the best interests of the consumer.

Planipedia is een non-profit community-based informatie bron voor consumenten, financieel planners, financieel planning ondernemingen en financieel planning associaties. De basis van het vak en het doel van een financieel planner is het belang van de klant voorop te stellen. In sommige landen kan dat een zwaardere verantwoordelijkheid met zich meebrengen terwijl het in andere landen de standaard is.

Het grondslag van deze website is dat de informatie een positieve bijdrage levert voor de adviseur en de financieel planning ondernemingen, maar in alle gevallen het belang van de klant voorop stellen!
