Our firm was engaged to complete a comprehensive strategic plan to provide you with an effective framework for financial decision making. Despite our discussions and mutual understanding of the importance of acting on the recommendations you either have not made the needed decisions or have not acted on the prudent advice and recommendations provided. This relates specifically to the advice and action plan steps regarding _________________________.
Decisions for action is the last step, but the most important step, for attaining one's financial goals and objectives. Simply put, the best plan will not provide benefits if not acted upon. Inaction may well hinder the achievement of your financial objectives.
We cannot accept new clients, nor retain existing clients, who do not benefit from our services. This may be the result of a client's failure to act or other circumstances. To retain clients under any of these conditions are not in the best interest of the client, or the professional obligations of our firm.
This letter is to confirm and advise you that due to your reluctance to act we are obligated to exercise our contractual right to end our advisor-client relationship effective ______________. We relinquish entitlement to fees-for-services except for prior fees payable pursuant to the terms of the Letter of Engagement.
This letter further confirms that it is understood that upon dissolution, you hereby release ________________ of, and shall not hold ___________________ liable for, any subsequent adverse impact on the attainment of your financial goals and objectives, now or at a later date.
We are sorry that our relationship has not proved to be the long-term, mutually beneficial one that we both originally intended. Should you wish to provide us with any feedback as to what we might have done to better serve you we would be grateful.
