The DFA designation signifies the completion of advanced training in tax preparation, tax planning, bookkeeping, payroll and managerial accounting services to individuals and business clients. Advisors choose from one of two streams of study - Tax Services Specialist or Bookkeeping Service Specialist. The designation requires the completion of six specific courses.
